Welcome to our software download page, where you can get the latest updates to the RedCat hospitality products, as well as a demonstration version of SmartSuite.

PLEASE NOTE: The downloadable updates will only work if you have already installed the 2006 Release CD issued by RedCat.

If you do not currently have this version, then please contact RedCat in order to upgrade now - otherwise you are missing out on crucial functionality. You will need a current maintenance contract in order to receive the 2006 Release.

Software download instructions

1. Make sure that you have the latest version of the download page by clicking the Refresh button on your browser.
   
2. Click on the item that you wish to download.
   
3. Ensure to download the file into your RedCat directory (e.g. C:\RedCat)
   
4. Once the file has been downloaded, open Explorer and double click on the downloaded file.
   
5. The setup program for the downloaded file will open.
   
6. Enter the current password, the follow the prompts to complete the installation of the update. If you do not have the current password, please call the RedCat Help desk on 1300 4 REDCAT.
   
7. Warning - RedCat POS users: After installing an update, always ensure to send a FULL update and a SOFTWARE update to the POS terminals, otherwise you may get error messages (inconsistent data definition) when you run the till software.
