Boost Juice brought the smoothie to the Australian public, making what had previously been a niche health food into a popular mainstream favourite. Their delicious blends of fruit, ice-cream and yogurt have made them a firm favourite of shoppers of all ages.

Boost Juice chose Redcat as their cloud-based POS offering, giving them the convenience of a single, easy to use sales and reporting system across their franchise and company owned stores. As Eddie Tucker, CIO, explains; “Redcat POS enables us to sell our products in a more controlled and secure fashion. It captures vital data and produces key management reports that enable us to run our business more effectively. We now have corporate reporting across the whole organisation. Franchises can log into the web based system and check KPIs, best-selling products and a whole host of other information. It gives us an amazing insight into certain key aspects of our business.”

Boost has a large and loyal following, and decided they wanted to give their customers an even better Boost experience. At peak times, customers were having to queue for their smoothie, so Boost wanted to offer customers the option to order in advance, and pick up at a time that suited them. They wanted to ensure that loyal customers felt special and valued, with special member offers and easy ways to earn, store and use Boost Vibe loyalty points.  
As a Redcat POS customer, Boost knew that the Redcat Polygon portfolio included a tailorable and integrated loyalty option. So it was a natural choice to work with Redcat to bring their loyalty ambitions to fruition.

The result was the ‘Order Now’ Smartphone app. Using ‘Order Now’ customers can find their nearest Boost store, and select and order their Boost in advance, nominating a pickup time that is convenient for them. The app presents them with the full Boost menu, complete with ingredients and nutritional information. Loyalty members can pay with their points, or with pre-loaded Vibe Cash or a Credit Card and they are sent ‘Mates Rates’ special offers via the app too.
 
Customer reaction has been even better than predicted – customers love the convenience of a ‘loyalty card’ on their phone, rather than a piece of plastic taking up space in their wallet. They like the ease of simply scanning a barcode to earn points on every purchase, and the ‘freebie’ they can claim as soon as they reach 10 points. 

Boost Juice loved the ease of working with Redcat to build the app, and the integration with their existing POS system. As Eddie puts it “they are committed to meeting our requirements today, and well into the future”. 
Boost now has more happy customers, buying more juice – that’s what they call a pretty good blend.
